Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center boasts the area's most comprehensive Dementia Unit. This unit offers a home-like secured environment that is specifically designed to lessen the stresses of everyday life and provides the therapeutic environment necessary to enable a person with memory loss or dementia to remain as independent and engaged as possible.

Our specially trained care professionals help individuals to realize their strengths instead of focusing on their losses. This type of encouragement comes on a daily basis from our caring and supportive staff who dedicate themselves to improving and maintaining the quality of life for our residents. Our residents are also encouraged to participate in all of the normal routines, as in their home, and are engaged by our staff to participate in a broad range of activities throughout the day. Our excellent activity program strives to provide an abundant life for residents seven days a week. Activity and nursing staff work closely together to meet the residents' unique physical and social needs.
