Adult Day Health Mission Statement
Saint Francis Adult Day Health Program strives to provide compassionate, loving care rooted in dignity, reverence and respect for life to the Participants of the program. The program is committed to enriching the lives of elders, disabled adults, their families, caregivers and the community through specialized adult day services, respite care, education and support.
Program Philosophy & Purpose
Saint Francis Adult Day Health Program is dedicated to providing a service, which enables elders and impaired adults to remain in the community, for as long as feasible. The purpose of Saint Francis Adult Day Health Program shall be:
Our Adult Day Health Program provides a safe, supportive environment for frail or functionally impaired older adults who may otherwise not be able to be left safely at home alone. Additionally, we provide support, respite and education to caregivers (including education on Alzheimer’s care and/or related dementia). The program is designed to promote and enhance the social, physical and cognitive skills of participants. To gain meaning from our program participants are offered opportunities to:
Each and every individual who enters the plan is treated like a member of our family. Our nurses work with the individual's private physician to develop a personalized treatment plan, ensuring that we give the best possible care and attention to the individual's special needs. Saint Francis Adult Day Health offers Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy during Program hours as insurance allows.

We also sponsor a monthly Caregiver Support Group. The group is open to the public and meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 at 101 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA.
